The album is undeniably pop, but draws on disparate elements including electronica / electro, rock and afro-beats whilst remaining resolutely fresh and inventive. The only constant between songs is the length of them – short! – redefining short, sharp and sweet. The songs average out at a pop-perfect 3 minutes.
